Adjectives Don’t Make the iPad Better

Here are some scenes from Apple’s keynote on January 27; cut together so you actually see how many adjectives were used by Steve Jobs & friends to wake enthusiasm for a giant iPhone. It’s hilarious to see Steve Jobs turning around to the audience and asking repeatedly “Isn’t it amazing?”. Every time he says that, you’re stuck wondering “what the heck’s so amazing about it??“. But after all, it’s Steve Jobs up there. For all it’s worth, he could be asking “isn’t this pile of sheep’s turd amazing?”. And everyone would chime in “yes, if Apple made it, it must be!”. Then people would stand in line for days just so they could be the first to pay $999 for their very own pile of sheep’s turd. Come to think of it, sheep’s turd might actually get flash support long before iPhones and iPads ever will
