The One Week iPhone App
Now that’s what I’m talking about! Internet making its own geeky reality shows:
I want to see if it’s possible for one individual to build an iPhone app in a week. And I’d like you to watch. I’m going to be designing, coding, and submitting everything by myself, and posting updates to the site multiple times a day. Hopefully, at the end of the week I’ll have an app ready to submit to Apple. I’ve made a few apps so far, including Twizzle and Color Stream.
On Sunday, the 7th of February developer Sahil Lavignia is going to start coding an app to see if he can finish it within a week. Everyone can watch by following the updates right here on his blog. He’s going to post videos, screenshots and notes regularly.
I’ve got absolutely no idea what kind of app it’s going to be but personally I hope it’s for some kind of game. It’ll be interesting to see if Lavignia can make it in a week. But in any case, watching how to make an app in real time certainly owns watching Paris Hilton shovel cow dung on Simple Life. Or no… actually it doesn’t
